Jane Hamilton...
is the owner of Quadra Island Vacation Rentals. Now a local resident, Jane first arrived on Quadra Island to work as a sea kayak guide for a local company.  After traveling extensively, she was looking for a new home base that was slightly off the beaten path, where both the mountains and ocean were accessible.

Jane has worked in many aspects of the tourism industry, both in Canada and overseas.  She owned and operated a successful bed and breakfast and sea kayak company, called The Paddling Gourmet, offering high-end tours around the islands and shoreline of Bruce Peninsula and Fathom Five National Parks in Georgian Bay, Lake Huron.

Jane is also an accredited teacher, and pursued contract work in Central America in her field of specialty, Outdoor and Experiential Education.  Through previous work experiences on the coast, and by participating in community events, she is building a strong network of connections and involvement with the Quadra community.

Quadra Island Vacation Rentals was established in 2003 and is successfully growing annually. We are members of the Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce and the North American wide Vacation Rental Managaers Association.  Also, to further add to customer confidence, we are registered Travel Agents under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act of British Columbia.
